So many people have asked us about "General". A little over a year, our boarders came together to start a foster rescue program. General, a then 6 year-old off the track Thoroughbred, was our first horse we rescued and brought in from Apache Rose Horse Rescue and Sanctuary.
With the amazing help of our barn manager Penny Meno, we were able to successfully rehabilitate him and send him back to Apache where he could be adopted.
Well...He has been adopted along with his girlfriend "Sugar Moon" by a rehabilitation facility that helps people with addiction problems etc.
They now roam 10 grass filled acres, and will be teaching people how to feel better.
We know that General will be outstanding at this special assignment, cuz he's just that kinda guy. ❤❤❤
